Jennifer grew-up in Bluefield, WV and relocated to Columbus after earning a BA Degree in Commercial Art from Concord University in Athens, WV. After 17 years as the Graphics Manager/Marketing Assistant for a local Promotional Advertising Company she changed her career path to include working with animals. Designer Paws Salon provided that opportunity. Jennifer is now the DPS receptionist and also provides graphics and marketing services.

She has always been an animal lover, growing-up with dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, anoles and an iguana. During summers she would volunteer at shelters and work at boarding facilities. As an adult she adopted her first Great Dane and became involved with Great Dane Rescue. She organized fund raising benefits, transported dogs in need and held adoption events to promote the breed and find them loving families.

Currently Jennifer's family includes her Husband Kenny, Great Dane Dylan and Maine Coon Sophie.
